My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Kaye’s family.
She was such a grand and special lady with many great accomplishments, far too many to mention. I have many memories of visiting Walker Place on Sunday afternoons with my dear cousins, the O’Connor boys, John and David, when we were mere children.
A favorite memory of her was that special twinkle in her eyes and a bright smile, a fashioned scarf tied around her hair and neck, and wearing gloves in a big shiny convertible.
Oh and such a gracious bridal shower given to me in her home on Walker Place in the mid 70’s. You see she was my Auntie Kaye too, even though we are not actually blood related.
Such a very special person; the whole world will surely miss her love of people and life. She made every moment special in all she did and said in a wonderful way. The world is a much sadder place without her. Sincerely, Christine O’Geen

I grew up on Walker Place next to Kay, Dennis Gill. My childhood memories are filled with Christmases shared with this family. She worked at CL Carrs in Batavia and use to take buying trips to NYC for business.

Kaye was a very special lady. Her stories and adventures were numerous and always a delight to listen to. Her grasp of local Batavia history was matched by almost no one. She will be sorely missed. My condolences to all her family. Even though I never met many of you if seems like I know you all through her.

So sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Kaye in my classroom at BOCES in the Batavia area. She provided myself and my students with lots of knowledge, entertainment and many, many laughs. She touched the lives of so many and certainly made my job so much easier. Thank you Kaye for so many fond memories. Rest in peace.
