49 years ago Frank took me under his arm and introduced me to trapping, hunting, flyfishing/flytying! For 5 of the most important and influential years of my life he tutored and taught me as if I was his own son! The picture is of my trapper pack and snowshoes that I used starting in 1969, I still have them and the fond memories of the times we used them. I am still an avid hunter and flyfisherman and not a day goes by that I haven’t used some of the skills he taught me!!! Every cast I make, fly I tye or shot I take directely relates to lessons taught to me by Frank. I will always remember his laugh, his excitement in headed to the creek or the woods, his love for Lorraine, family and pasta sauce!!! I will give those snowshoes and pack a good coat of wax this fall the way Frank taught me long ago.
Thank you God for giving the world a man like Frank and thank you Frank for taking the time to show the little snot nosed neighbor kid the beauty of the outdoors!
YOU are missed!!!

Dear Lorraine and family,
My sincere sympathy and condolences to the Yasses family upon the loss of Frank. I have many fond memories of working for/with him at Graham Manufacturing. He was very fair, honest and hard working. Find comfort in the fact that he set an example of hard work, passionate hobbies and great love of family for all of you to follow.
Sincerely,
Kevin and Diane Skelton

GRAMPS! You’re the reason I’m where I am today. You encouraged me to get an education, you told me move and become a something you’d be proud of me for (I hope you are) you told me to marry someone who would love me unconditionally (I couldn’t have picked a better person) you told me I was having a boy the day I told you I was pregnant, you told me to never give up on life. I’ll miss talking to you every Friday, but know that at 4:45pm I’ll be thinking of you. I hope I’ve made you proud! God Bless, til we meet again!
I love you! Stace
