Hello. I just saw this
Art was a wonderful person
I went to grade school with him and went to his home many times to play
We enjoyed numerous grade school years together. As 60 years have passed, and I still remember, that says it all.
God bless him
I shall join him in heaven from California
Love
Emmett T Clancy

My heart is broken at the loss of Art. He was the best and kindest employer I had, more like a father and friend. I am blessed that I could learn under him and work along side him and his family for so many years. There are so many fond memories, treasured moments. You are all in my daily prayers and thoughts. I pray the God of all comfort pours His peace over you all.

Morning Art
The stillness of the morning, when daylight holds its breath
Ere casting its rays of light onto all that lies below
The air holds peace, holds beauty, holds wisdom
And speaks to those who are willing to listen
He embraced that moment when he could
And hearkened to what nature had to say
He took to heart its characteristics
Of common connection, of simplicity, or balance
He became a type of soil
Providing nutrients for his family to grow
He taught his children to use their hands
How to work hard, how to live off the land
Unafraid, he walked on rough terrain
Because beaten paths to do not lead to interesting places
He wanted to be challenged
To earn, to appreciate to cherish everything that he had
He became a type of tree
Branches extending as far as they could
Fruit on the ends, ready to be picked
Crisp with knowledge, with advice, with a smile
He was the medium from nature to man
Inspiration flowing from one to another
A source of energy, generous and wise
He will be missed, will be mourned, will be treasured
The stillness of dawn, when daylight holds its breath
Ere casting its rays of light onto all that lie below
That moment is where he’ll spend eternity
Preserved as morning art
